What a Change He has made!

This is my testimony of how God helped me

gain dominion over my health. 

My Testimony:

My health was failing, due to weight in excess of 330 pounds. I was suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, headaches, eye problems, and some arthritic conditions just to mention a few. I began to hear from God many years ago on this, but only acted on some things, and not everything that he told me. I began to apply the financial principles of debt and giving to my life and I got some measure of success, but I was still failing in many areas of my life. I attended a meeting at a neighboring church by invitation and the minister spoke directly to me saying, “sir you are a pastor, and I perceive that you are and have been under a lot of stress, God will give you a visitation. It is not for your church, but for you. You will go to a retreat and when you come again, your people will hardly know you.” I left wondering what it all meant. I was truly under a lot of stress, yet as most pastors my thoughts were on the needs of our church. I could not understand why God would ordain a visitation specificaly for me. Shortly after this I had a dream, and in the dream there were two people in the backseat of my car. One was a man that I respected in the ministry. He prayed for me and invoked the blessings of God, but said to me that “Gods wants to bless you, but you need balance in your life.” He spoke to me of my health and then spoke the blessings of God on my life as though it was already accomplished. Just then another, very harsh voice rang out from the back seat saying” We will see! He will be dead before he is 60.” I turned and there was this woman with blood in her teeth. I awoke and prayed to God for help and an answer. It seemed to me the answer came to my heart to arise up 30 minutes early in the morning and walk away from my house as quickly as I could for 15 minutes, and then come back. This I and my wife began to do. The Weight came off slowly, but steadily. My diseases seemed to melt as well. As I prayed in those weeks, God began to talk to me about how he wanted to prosper the whole man, just as Adam was blessed in the beginning. He revealed to me that there were 5 areas of a mans life that needed to be balanced in order for that man or woman to become the sons of God spoken of in Romans.

Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

The 5 Areas are as follows.

(1) The mind- The mind is the thumb of the man, touching all areas of the mans life.

All balance must begin in the mind of man. With the mind he must first serve God.

With the mind all beginnings are made. God showed me that we are not utilizing the mind as we should. He showed me some useful things that I could not figure out on my own. I was able by this technique to learn all the books of the bible in their order and retain them for rapid recall, a useful thing to a bible student or preacher. Also to remember large numbers at will, more than 30 digits is no problem. The mind also plays a huge part in faith, and understanding. I taught the bible books in order to a young lady in about 20 minutes. I had been preaching for years and did not know them, until I learned this technique.

(2) The spirit- There is more to the spiritual walk than attending church. There is deep revelations of the spirit and these will not be received by the carnal mind. There is walking with God and knowing who he is. Seeking the face of Jesus Christ, rather than just his hand, or his blessings. I have received many revelations that open the books of the bible, not just revelations, but all books.

(3) The Health – Is of utmost importance. Without it, we are hampered to do all that God wills us to do. We have unknowingly and unwittingly taken things into our bodies in the name of health, that destroy the body. God reveals through the word the things that will bring healing to our bodies.

(4) Social – Most do not see the need of this, but the second great commandment is to love thy neighbor as thyself. How will we take the kingdom for our Lord, if we don’t have a good report within and without? Joseph, Daniel and others were very prominent in their societies.

(5) Finances- God wants us to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers.

3 Jn 1:2

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Contrary to some beliefs , we are to be wealthy into order to bring prosperity to the kingdom of God. Since I started fully applying God’s principles to my finances, I have paid off credit cards, bills and over 18000.00 on my home to become debt free!
